12/11/11 Marie Curie Mini Pots Of Care Part 1.

Today our children participated in the 1st part of Mini Pots of care fundraising for Marie Curie.

The morning started with a talk from Elizabeth Islam From Marie Curie, the children then went onto colour their daffodils pictures.

After the children’s snack time they all got stuck into planting their daffodil bulbs, which they take home and care for til the spring, then bring back on the mini pots of care day on the 18/02/12 where they will decorate their pots and do a sponsored cain walk for Marie Curie with a potato pie and peas lunch afterwards.

our day ended today with the giving out of sponsor forms to all the children to collect sponsors for their walk our target is £200 which pays for a full nursing shift of a Marie Curie nurse.

i would also like to welcome our new comer to our group toady little georgia who got stuck into all the activities and mixed well with the rest of the children.

and a big thank you to Elizabeth Islam from the Marie Curie team who gave a lovely speech.
