14.10.11 Blackpool Ilumanations tactile tour

What a fantastic night the children had
Starting off at the Bispham Kitchen fish and
Chips for all, was very busy but I was amazed that
They got all our meal Order right.

Most of us restrained ourselves from the massive
Cream cakes apart from Adam and Vicki yes the Adults
Got stuck in.
All the children was given £5.00 each to buy
A flashing toy lights, some bought lasers and windmills
But I have to say the best one bought was that of Adams yes one of the parents, who walked round with flashing glasses on.

I’d like to thank Richard Ryan the ilumanations manager who
Met us and carried out a verbal tactile tour. The children was able to touch dinasors, noddys car, postman pat, and
teddy bears. And talk to and feel bob the builder and mickey mouse, who isobel was taking home.

All the children got alot from this and my little
Ellie is still talking about it.
After the tour it was off for candy floss
Donuts and sweets.
Tram rides through the remaining lights.
We tried our luck on some of the arcades before
Taking our excited tired children home.

I’d like to say a big thank you to Garath Molineux Disability community chapion who got up some funds
And joined us on the night.
Also thanks to the Rotary and Accrington
Lions who also provided some funds to make this night possible for our children.
I can honestly say now after ten years of avoiding Taking my own daughter to the lights because of no vision
She along with all our vi children and patents
Had a magical night, the lights was truly brought alive For them.
